The work on the road has started. For those that don’t know, we put in for a grant to repair the roads into the ranges. Late last year and we were successful in getting the funding and work is well underway. Awsome work from Heritage City Earthmoving. ...
So a bit of an update on the bushfire at the range. With the hard work of the RFS we managed to get away with no buildings lost. As you can see from the pic it got very close so we are extremely lucky.
The damage we did sustain is to the fences and the all the danger signs around the boundaries.
So at this stage we have to keep the range closed until we have the signs replaced. We will need helpers next week to come and help put up new fence signs around the boundary so we can reopen for shooing. Let us know if you can help.
Also a big shoutout to Signmax Bundaberg for working over their Christmas break to get these ready for us. The gates would be closed for a lot longer without them. ...
Just letting everyone know we have a fire very close to the club. Last person we could get in there confirmed there was no damage currently. Rural fire service are working hard to protect our buildings and houses in the area but at this stage we are just waiting to see what happens. We will let everyone know if we get an update. ...

We have had to shut down the shotgun comps for the time being. We have had very little turn out for the last few months now. If anyone has interest in getting it up and running again the branch will help where we can to get it kicked off. ...

Just a reminder that our monthly general meeting will be held Thursday 13th June, at the Old Bundy Tavern on Quay Street Bundaberg at 7:00pm.
It has been bought to my attention that the date for the meeting was left off the previous notice. ...
This Saturday 13th April, Rural Fire Brigade will be performing a burn around the ranges from 1:00pm. It will be followed up by a check over the area first thing the next morning (Sunday).
All shooting must cease by 12:00pm(LunchTime) Saturday on all ranges, Rifle and Pistol.
Shooting cannot commence on Sunday until given the all clear that all the teams have left the area. This will be done in person by Rudy on Sunday Morning. The plan is for this to be done by 9am. ...
Special General Meeting
Just a Reminder, the Special General Meeting will be held tomorrow, 7:00pm, Thursday, 11th April, 2019
This will be at the Old Bundy Tavern, Quay Street, Bundaberg, in the downstairs Function Room, and is for the purpose of electing a new branch President and Vice President.
This meeting will be followed by the normal monthly general meeting. ...
